FirstBest Systems, a leading provider of cloud-based underwriting solutions in the property and casualty (P&C) industry, has been acquired by Guidewire Software. With a team led by Fred Joseph, AGC Partners acted as sole financial advisor to FirstBest Systems. According to Guidewire, "the addition of FirstBest's technology and people will enable the expansion of the Guidewire Insurance Platform by providing insurers in the U.S. and Canada writing complex commercial, specialty, and workers' compensation lines greater support for their risk assessment and decision-making processes."
