At $227 billion in size and with upside to $1 trillion in 2027, Education Technology is a massive market that continues to expand on a global scale. The global pandemic resulted in 20% of the world’s population being thrust into a distance or online learning environment, many for the first time. Schools mobilized to meet the challenge, investing in broadband access, connected devices, digital curriculum and software to store, track, deliver and manage that curriculum in a single location. Now districts and schools own thousands of notebooks and myriad LMS systems that they never had before, all with their own IT life cycles requiring replacement and upgrades. So regardless of whether students fully return to in-person learning and physical classrooms, these IT investments will live on.
