Theodor Mettenheimer

Theo steps into his new role having successfully closed 26 strategic transactions in the Technology, Media and Telecoms space, collectively valued at over EUR 3.5bn. He serves a diverse range of clients, from publicly listed companies and institutional investors to founders. He has particular expertise in Defense Tech, Digital Infrastructure & Cloud, HR Technology and Vertical SaaS.

Clients value his commercial acumen combining a deep understanding of technology, business models, their valuations and investor relations. Most of the transactions were cross-border. Before joining AGC Partners, Theo was a Vice President at Lincoln International, spearheading the execution of TMT mandates in the DACH region. He also spent valuable time at Drake Star Partners and Perella Weinberg, where he executed TMT transactions not only in Germany but also across the US, UK, Europe, and China.

Prior to his career in investment banking, Theo served several years as a team leader in the Special Operations and Intelligence Services of the German Armed Forces. Born and raised in Frankfurt am Main, Germany, Theo earned his Bachelor's Degree in Business Management from Buckingham University.
