Ken Allen, Partner and Co-Head of AGC’s Infrastructure Sector, is an industry veteran with over 20 years of experience in the technology investment banking industry. Key themes he has examined with clients include: the shift from on-premise architectures to the cloud, mobile computing, infrastructure, artificial intelligence, personalized commerce, SaaS and cloud communications technology. Ken comes to AGC from Seaport Capital Partners, a leading consulting firm focused on advising Financial Sponsors, Strategics, and Family Offices in the technology sector. Prior to Seaport Capital Partners, he was a Managing Director at PJT Partners and its predecessor firm, Blackstone, where he was one of the founding members of the Technology practice. He was also previously a banker in Deutsche Bank’s Technology group based in Boston. Ken started his career in the consulting industry at Bain & Company and The Parthenon Group, where he advised clients on growth and profitability optimization strategies. Over the course of his career, Ken has executed over 40 strategic transactions for clients having an aggregate value of over $40 billion. Ken’s clients have spanned leading Financial Sponsors and Strategics including Acxiom/Liveramp, Advent International, Appirio, Blackstone, CenturyLink, Charter Communications, General Atlantic, Publicis, Sapient, Sequoia Capital, Starwood Hotels, Xerox, and many others.
Ken received his B.E. in Electrical Engineering from Dartmouth College’s Thayer School of Engineering, graduating with Phi Beta Kappa honors, and earned his MBA from Dartmouth’s Tuck School of Business, where he graduated as a Tuck Scholar.
