Hugh is a Partner at AGC Partners, focusing on HCIT, Life Sciences Technology and Software out of the firm's Minneapolis office. Hugh is a 25-year technology M&A veteran who ran Piper Jaffray's M&A practice in Software and Services for more than 8 years before joining Craig-Hallum Capital Group in 2006, where he led their M&A practice. He has completed more than 150 transactions during his career and has worked at Dain Rauscher Corporation, where he started the firm's software practice, and Dillon, Read and Co. Inc. in New York and London. A frequent speaker at M&A conferences, Hugh graduated from the University of Denver, summa cum laude, and received his Master of Business Administration degree from the Harvard Business School.
Hugh lives in Minneapolis with his wife and three daughters. He often competes in Track & Field and ranks 1st in the Minnesota Masters 400M run. He is also a competitive 5K Runner and Cross-Country Skier.
